Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is an intense exfoliation
process that rejuvenates the skin by utilizing ultra-fine
aluminum oxide crystals to remove the upper layer of the
epidermis. At the same time, the handpiece contains a
vacuum tube that sweeps up both the used crystal as well
as the skin's cellular debris. This process exfoliates
the skin, stimulating new collagen production that will
result in firmer, more youthful looking skin over time.

Patients who have had this procedure
performed consistently over a period of time have enjoyed
excellent and long-term results.
About the Procedure
The procedure can be performed on
virtually all persons and skin types. While microdermabrasion
is most often performed on the face, many of our patients
have had treatments to the neck, abdomen, legs, and shoulders
.any
area that can benefit from smoother, younger-looking skin.
Microdermabrasion typically takes
twenty minutes per treatment. Depending on the condition
you wish to treat, our staff can recommend a specific
number of treatments. The treatments can be performed
as often as weekly.
With the aid of micro-crystals vacuumed
through a delicate handpiece held at a precise angle to
the skin, our staff will affect a superficial skin polishing.
